Built on a commitment to quality, consistency and service, Rajbhog has grown from its independent retail origins into an established manufacturing and distribution business serving customers throughout the UK.

Our continued growth has been shaped by long-term investment in our people, production capabilities, quality standards and distribution network — while preserving the authentic flavours and traditions at the heart of the Rajbhog brand.

OUR JOURNEY

Rajbhog began by producing traditional Indian snacks for independent retailers across Ealing Road, Southall Broadway and Green Street — areas at the heart of the UK's South Asian food and retail community.

A defining chapter in the company's development began in August 2005, when Thakor Patel acquired Rajbhog Foods with a clear vision for its future.

Under his leadership, the business embarked on a sustained programme of growth and investment. Manufacturing processes were strengthened, quality controls enhanced and the company's distribution capabilities progressively expanded.

What began as a locally focused operation developed into a broader food manufacturing business, with Rajbhog products reaching an increasing number of cash & carries, wholesalers, independent grocers and retailers across the country.

THE NEXT GENERATION

In 2014, Shyam Patel joined Rajbhog Foods, marking the beginning of the second generation of family leadership within the business.

His appointment represented an important step in Rajbhog's long-term development, combining the experience and entrepreneurial foundations established by Thakor Patel with a new generation focused on the company's future.

Working alongside his father, Shyam has played a role in the continued professionalisation and development of the business, supporting its operational growth, expanding commercial relationships and strengthening Rajbhog's position within an evolving UK food market.

Today, the two generations share a common objective: to build a stronger, more scalable and increasingly recognised food manufacturing business while protecting the quality, authenticity and family values on which Rajbhog was founded.
